On May 6th and 7th at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater,
MasterVoices will bring you ORPHIC MOMENTS – an inventive multi-disciplinary interweaving of
Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice  and Matthew Aucoin’s The Orphic Moment.

Six Degrees of MasterVoices: Anthony played the title role in AKHNATEN by Philip Glass, whose TOLTEC SYMPHONY and THE JUNIPER TREE were both given their New York premieres by MasterVoices. We also performed a live-to-film presentation of his score to KOYAANISQATSI with the New York Philharmonic in 2014.

Fun Fact: Anthony’s first professional job was in the Broadway national tour of FALSETTOS when he was just 11 years old!

Six Degrees of MasterVoices: Kiera made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera under the baton of Alan Gilbert, under whose baton we also sang – and recorded – in 2013 (Dallapiccola’s IL PRIGIONIERO).
Fun Fact: Kiera is also an accomplished pianist, and is married to bass-baritone Jonathan Kimple!

Six Degrees of MasterVoices: Lauren premiered the role of Addie Mills in THE HOUSE WITHOUT A CHRISTMAS TREE by Ricky Ian Gordon – MasterVoices gave New York premieres to his operas 27 (2016) and THE GRAPES OF WRATH (2010).
Fun Fact: Lauren was born in Austin, Texas and is married to baritone Mark Diamond!
