MasterVoices will launch its MV Patrons Excursion series with a visit to Philadelphia, delving into the thriving music, opera, art, and culinary scenes in the City of Brotherly Love. Featuring locations that are easily accessible from NYC, the Excursion series will explore cultural riches closer to home.
Highlights of our visit will include world-class performances – a virtuosic program from the Philadelphia Orchestra, a world premiere by Opera Philadelphia, and two exquisite concerts from the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society – with exclusive access to selected artists; hospitality in private homes and favorite restaurants; guided visits to The Barnes Foundation, Calder Gardens, the Philadelphia Art Museum, and private art collections; a tour of Philadelphia’s astonishing history; and so much more – all underscored with brilliant musical insights from our Artistic Director, Ted Sperling!
