Elizabeth Tunick was born in Columbus, Ohio, received a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Art History from the University of Michigan, completing her M.A. at the NYU Institute of Fine Arts. She was a J. Clawson Mills Fellow at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Beth was Vice-President of David Tunick, Inc. from 1978 to 2008. She was a Metropolitan Opera Guild Board member from 1992 to 2015, serving as Secretary from 2004-2015, and is currently an Emeritus member of the board. She has served on the MasterVoices Board since 2002, and has served as Chair of the Development Committee and the Special Events Committee, and is currently serving as Secretary. Beth has a son and a daughter and lives in New York City.
