Josh Cogswell is proud to make a living discovering, delivering and monetizing innovative products from the ground up. As Global Head of Experiences at VICE Media, he leads a team of creators, marketers and technologists developing some of the most sought after brands and media experiences for young generations. Josh has held top digital positions at VICE as President of Digital, Tribune Media as Chief Product Officer, and Viacom as SVP of Product Management where he led teams building technology for MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, BET, and Paramount Pictures audiences. Before receiving his MBA at NYU’s Stern School of Business and attending Stanford University’s Design School, Josh studied both piano and voice at Indiana University’s School of Music where he subsequently held a leadership position in the school’s acclaimed concert choir, The Singing Hoosiers. During his tenure, the Grammy-nominated group performed at Carnegie Hall and recorded two albums with Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. A Los Angeles native, he was ranked as one of the top eight young pianists in California during high school years. Josh and his husband Justin, who is a theatrical teaching artist for New York City public schools, now live with their two beautiful children in Brooklyn where music, storytelling and laughter rule their days.
