Susan L. Baker

Susan L. Baker received a BA in English literature from Wellesley College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. After a long career on Wall Street working at Goldman, Sachs & Co., Lehman Brothers and First Boston she retired and re-focused her energies on the not-for-profit sector. Over a decades-long commitment to service in that community she has served on the Boards of many organizations including the School of American Ballet, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the American Friends of the Royal Academy and the American Friends of the Aix-en-Provence Festival. She Chaired the Boards of the New York City Opera and MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale} for many years. Today she serves on the Boards of the Spoleto Festival, the Animal Medical Center, The Shen Wei Dance Arts Company, the American Friends of Les Arts Florissants and MasterVoices. She lives in New York with her husband Michael Lynch and several beloved creatures and enjoys opera, fine arts and travel.
